What we collect
When you use text-to-podcast.com we collect:
- Account information — your name and email address, provided when you sign in with Google.
- Content you submit — text, audio settings, and metadata for the podcasts you generate.
- Usage data — anonymized page views and product events so we can improve the service.
- Billing information — if you upgrade to a paid plan, payment details are handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
How we use it
- To generate and host the podcasts you create.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service (debugging, analytics, product development).
- To communicate with you about your account, transactional emails, and material changes to the service.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
Third-party services
We rely on third parties to deliver the service: Google (sign-in and email delivery), Stripe (payments), our hosting provider, our database provider, and AI inference providers used to synthesize audio. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their functionality and are bound by their own privacy policies.
Data retention
We retain account and content data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. Some records may be retained for legal, accounting, or security reasons.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us via the support address listed on the homepage.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email.
